Time to Graduate

Graduation Day for the senior Class of 2025 was on June 10. The day started at 8 AM, with the seniors and Junior Honor Court meeting at the Save Mart Center to practice the ceremony. There were a total of 322 graduating seniors, with 30 being valedictorians from Fresno High. Students had to be grad-ready and back at the Save Mart Center at 2 PM to get started with the ceremony.
Graduation officially started at 4 PM with Principal Amy Smith welcoming Honor Court to the floor to start off the graduates. Once all the graduates made it to their seats, Georgia Woody, class president of 2025, led the Pledge of Allegiance. Continuing with the ceremony, the band and choir presented one song each; it was a bittersweet moment for the graduating seniors to perform one last time at their own graduation. Finalizing the beginning portion of the ceremony, ASB President Omar Carro gave an amazing speech referencing “The Perks of Being a Wildflower” and how infinite our lives are during high school.
The ceremony ended at 6 PM with graduates receiving their actual diplomas from their counselors and meeting their families outside the Save Mart Center. The graduation ceremony for the class of 2025 was a beautiful ending to the graduates' high school experience.
