Jack the Ripper

The Jack the Ripper Murders is one of the more common but still astonishing mystery murder cases. One of the many reasons this is a mystery specifically is because no one knows for sure who did it. Many people, like researchers and historians even, have speculations or educated guesses on who possibly committed these murders but there is no concrete evidence. These murders took place in the East End, London, a smaller area. Specifically, poor and higher crime rate areas, in 1888. There were a canonical five victims, however there could be more if jack the ripper was also the cause of the Whitechapel murders. There is no exact amount of victims because this killer was never caught. Which in my opinion is amazing how this person could kill more than five people and probably live without being brought to justice. The reason why this person is referred to as “Jack the Ripper” is because the famous ‘Dear Boss’ letter. This letter was sent in late September 1888 to the central news office. The likelihood of it actually being sent by the killer is unlikely now but was still believed by police back then.
